New Year’s in Seattle

“You will never be completely at home again, because part of you will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place” – Miriam Adeney

Let us begin this New Year from the ashes and rise up in fire to take on the new challenges of 2017.

I walked over to the outlook in Queen Anne’s Seattle to watch the fireworks for New Year’s. Took me a little while to find a quiet spot to set up my camera and attempt my first shots of fireworks! What an amazing display of fire and spectacle; it’s just a shame we couldn’t hear the music from this far away!

Thank you to everyone who follows me on my travels around the globe. As I make my way further west, I learn more and more about taking better pictures – it’s a never-ending journey of learning! The pictures do capture some of the special moments from my trip even though most do not quite represent the beauty and grandeur of the world we are all a part of. But I am trying my best to get the best of what is around me and share it as much as possible. Thanks for the show Seattle!

All the best.
